South Korea will offer emergency relief supplies worth 200,000 U.S. dollars to flood victims in Pakistan, the foreign ministry here said Tuesday.

Heavy rains triggered massive floods in southern Pakistan, which have killed 226, affected some five million people and inundated 40,000 acres of land.

Seoul will deliver relief supplies including tents, blankets and water purification tablets starting on Wednesday, according to the foreign ministry. The supplies are expected to reach Pakistan on Sunday.
